Jury: “Taking into account the innovative  theme, its thoroughness and the way it was discussed, the exposure capacity and the interest and technological scope of the theme, linked to the development of the market and investor education, the research study on the "Analysis of the Relationship between Bitxoin and the Stock Market: Study of Prices, Profitability and Volatility Transfer” is the selected winner”.


Applications took place between 1 October and 31 December 2020. The prize was presented at the "CMVM’s 30th Anniversary: The future of the capital market and its regulation" seminar.

Jury: "A pioneer study in Portugal which is well grounded in the literature of this field, and supported by data from the European market where the concept of FinTech is most developed, can be an important starting point for the definition of strategies for financial institutions in a new competitive setup, and may also contribute to understanding the new "value" scenario, implied by FinTechs, in wherein these financial institutions must also be regulated and supervised".  


Applications took place between 1 October and 31 December 2018. The prize was presented at the 2019 World Investor Week conference.
