Warning concerning OTIMIZE - Consultores Financeiros

The CMVM (Portuguese Securities Market Commission) issues a warning for investors wherein caution is advised pertaining OTIMIZE – CONSULTORES FINANCEIROS, with the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/OtimizeConsultoresFinanceiros/. OTIMIZE – CONSULTORES FINANCEIROS is not authorised to carry out any type of financial intermediation activity in Portugal, pursuant to Article 295 (1)(a) and (b) of the Portuguese Securities Code.

The CMVM clarifies that such entity uses a similar designation to that of the authorised financial intermediary Optimize Investment Partners – Sociedade Gestora de Fundos de Investimento Mobiliário, S.A. (https://www.optimize.pt/), registered with the CMVM, which is not subject to this warning or, in any way, indorsed by same.

In order to ensure that a certain entity that provides investment services in financial instruments is authorised to carry out said activity in Portugal, one should consult the list of authorised financial intermediaries via the following link http://web3.cmvm.pt/sdi/ifs/app/pesquisa_nome.cfm?nome or via the list of entities authorised to provide financial services in Portugal under the freedom to provide services (LPS) via the link http://web3.cmvm.pt/sdi/ifs/LPS/index.cfm.
