CMVM resumes on-site service to the public
12 June
2020
The CMVM informs that as from next Monday, it
will be resuming its on-site service to the public, which was interrupted on 17
March, following the adoption of extraordinary measures to contain and mitigate
Covid-19.
Access to the CMVM facilities is subject to the
recommendations instated by the health authorities in the context of this
pandemic, to safeguard visitors and employees, and thus, the following applies:
The use of
a protective mask is mandatory;
Only one person
at a time;
Social distancing
must be observed until service is provided.
The
procedure regarding securities certificates will, however, remain unchanged
compared to the one defined during the State of Emergency resulting from the
Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, until further notice, the issuance of certificates,
will continue to be carried out exclusively by distance means, to the email
address provided by the investor in the application or by postal mail. See the
procedures here.
The assistance
service for investors and other natural persons or entities will also continue
to be provided by the CMVM through the remote means available for this purpose,
namely, by email and directed telephone contacts, which can be consulted on the
CMVM website.
Investors
continue to have assistance via the Green Line - 800 205 339 (toll free) - from
09h00 to 18h00.
The CMVM
provides investors with a page on its website where you can find the measures
taken by the CMVM in the context of this pandemic for investors and the market.
